I read the New Yorker article about the Tates. They are irredeemable. That the young sapling member of the grifter all star family admires them says a lot about the values he learned at home. It is sad that too many young men admire degradation of women. That will make them unlovable to the women they may pine for. Or the men they may pine for.

Oh my goodness! I'm so disgusted that BOYS are being exposed to this and then act on it, let alone adult men! WTH!! And I'm relieved that I'm no longer a teacher to witness this behavior. I'd probably get fired.

I feel so sorry for young women today. Their only hope for love, romance, marriage and children is to become a single mother through artificial insemination, or choose a life partner who is female. Hopefully, they can avoid these disgusting males in all their life choices. Stay safe.

These weird horrible men seem to be republicans?! If so no one will vote for them for years! Or Never! There are more women in USA now than men! Let’s get them out of our livers!

Having gone to Oberlin College, its mention jumped out at me. When I was there, feminism infused the campus culture. We need more of that.

Barron is off stage most of the time like Boo Radley. But Boo was a kind and gentle and even heroic soul. I’m guessing the spectral Barron has none of these virtues.

We live in a nightmare world. This march back to the Dark Ages is as incomprehensible to me as it is frightening. I have a friend who for years has been remarking on what he views as one of the greatest threats to human survival: reductions in male average sperms counts. Even if true, and I have no idea whether it is, I cannot conceive of how that concern can have snowballed into the all-out, incel-led misogyny spreading across much of the West today. Alpha-male camps for teen sons? Enhanced sexual gratification by choking your female partner, er, victim? Testing military personnel for testosterone levels? This is nowhere near the world I envisioned while coming of age in the late 1960s and early '70s. But I deeply appreciate Nine Burleigh and Katie Chenoweth's continued reporting and exposing all this insanity.

This is the kind of stuff we feminists were calling out 50+ years ago, only worse. Corrupt as Nixon & co. were, it's hard to imagine them hanging out with the Tates and their all-too-extensive ilk.

Hot damn, ladies! You are on fire with this one. Many thanks--their sins can't be repeated enough, and a big shout-out for pointing toward the Trump family and Boo Radley Barron who aid and abet.

Any hearing needs to ask Vance why he financially supports the Tates' platform.

We can only hope that the Tates' fellow inmates are treating them with the same level of respect that they have shown to the females unlucky enough to have crossed their paths. #DestroyThePatriarchy

Yes, of course choking is horrific. But what about rape & trafficking?

My hopes for Tate’s prison experience aren’t nearly as kind.
