If you want to know how our society lost its way listen to the teacher whistleblowers at WhiteChalkCrime.com and EndTeacherAbuse.org. A society that ignores its called-to-teach teachers is destined for failure.
It is after all Planet Patriarchy, where any progress in the agency of human females has been “granted” to us by the dominant males, where everyday sexism is so deeply globally institutionalized that most girls and women can’t recognize it for what it is.
This is just one 73 year old crone’s overlook on it… of course – informed and schooled as I was (and still am) on the radical idea that liberation from its death grip is what we want, not equality with its daily mayhem. Perhaps this era’s misogynistic surge is a true extinction burst… male dominance in the throes of and last ready to fade after at least 8 millennia of control and violence.
“With our eyes fastened unblinkingly on their faces day and night for thousands of years they have grown increasingly mad. With our attention riveted upon them they are killing us and the world around us daily."
This misogyny has its roots in the four fundamental myths we address in our book, The Mental Freedom Toolkit (in beta readers review):
1. The Myth of Separation: The belief that we are fundamentally separate from each other and from our planet and universe. This myth fuels the "us versus them" mentality that makes genuine collaboration seem impossible and justifies treating others as competitors, inferiors or threats rather than fellow conscious beings navigating shared challenges.
2. The Myth of Scarcity: The belief that there isn't enough—not enough resources, opportunities, love, or success to go around. This myth, rooted in Malthusian assumptions that have been proven false, drives the fear-based thinking that those who would manipulate us use to control our behavior.
3. The Myth of Not Being Enough: The belief that we are not enough to have what we want and need. When scarcity is present, we often believe that those who have what they want and need somehow have qualities, resources and opportunities that we do not. We commonly conclude that, unlike them, we’re not good enough, not smart enough, not attractive enough, not rich enough, not loving or loveable enough to have whatever they have. At its worst, we may believe that we can never be enough.
4. The Myth of Undeserve-ability: The belief that we don’t deserve to have what we want and need. This myth has its roots in those experiences and messaging that we are not enough and therefore we don’t deserve to have our needs and wants met. By extension, we may judge others as not deserving to have what they want or even what they most basically need. We rationalize undeserve-ability using the false myths of scarcity, separation and not being enough.
These myths serve the manipulators who want to control us.
It’s up to us to free ourselves and support others to do the same.
Thank you. See my restack comments. Add what has happened to women in Afghanistan. Do you really think that this couldn’t happen here? It’s COVERTURE on steroids and it happened in what? Two years?
Thank you! Inconvenient truth, obvious as it is...
Bram de Swaan describes the phenomenon of denying this, from ISIS to Trump, as "Convulsions of the Patriarchy" in his book "Against the Women".

“…we swim in a miasma of sexism.”
Everywhere.

Not only do I believe this surge of misogyny is an extinction burst, I am committed to making it so.
Every woman, and every one who cares about women, should read this. Thanks, Nina.
This is tragic, stomach turning, horrifying to read and it must be shared to wake people up to this travesty AND ITS ENABLERS like Zuckerberg et al.
Zuckerberg has daughters and a wife who is a pediatrician- his misogyny is stunning. What is his story?
The West's foundational and unaddressed white-supremacism.

Excellent response to this tragedy.
Well said. Thank you.
Thank You Virginia Giuffre for all that you did for the women who have suffered as you. Bless Your Beautiful Soul
🖤Vale Virginia Giuffre🖤
Brava Nina!
Thank you for plunging into the sordid depths. I learned. It rings true.
This is horrifying.
I never dreamed the Internet and the billionaires who own it would take us back to the Bronze Age. Yet here we are in a devolving chattel economy.

Thank you Nina, and thank you Virginia...your courage shines brightly forever for so many many of us.
Thank you! I could never have said it better! Thank you for finding the words that escaped me. ♥️
I love y'all. Well, most of you, anyway.
Thank you, it made me 😭 because it's True!
We will not comply.
Thank you for your fabulous work, Nina!
