Our Freak of the Week is among the most dangerous and damaging of Trump's cabinet appointees. A vaccine denier, a wellness-woo-spewing conspiracy theorist, a former heroin addict who has said the drug helped him get better grades and anti-science to the core, he is the unlikeliest and most unfit director of the Health and Human Services Administration in modern history.
He has already turned out the lights on potential medical research into things like pancreatic cancer research and pandemic preparedness and is overseeing the "what me worry" federal response to the worst measles outbreak on American soil in decades. As bird flu burns through domesticated animals and menaces humanity, he's fired the veterinarians who were studying.
Oh, and he is a self-confessed sex pest, a job qualification for many of the males working around Don.
