Ruth Ben Ghiat is a historian of fascism, author of a terrific book on modern-day Strongmen and an NYU professor and she’s invited me on to discuss pressing issues including this week’s Freakshow report from the Epstein files showing how Epstein was messing around in Middle East politics when barely out of prison, meeting the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, and cozying up to Gulf royals. We discovered that arguably, Jeff laid the groundwork for Jared Kushner’s “Abraham Accords,” and most certainly modeled the grift-influence mode of international relations that young Jared has perfected.
