It’s happening in Kansas, seems to have started with a group trip to Micronesia, has at least one person infected with extra-pulmonary symptoms. We have no information about the strain, its virulence, its responsiveness to the TB. Drugs on hand.

I am sorry to hear that Ellen, I don't have any sound advice except that your local health authorities probably are tracking it. We've had outbreaks of a horrible flu in new york as well. I am not sure if people who are catching it have been vaccinated or not, but I have heard it is extremely debilitating.

Most I know personally, including m had this season flu shot. But this illness after November shot has activated long GBS- like symptoms.
The public needs health information. Resurrect the CDC now!
