I just saw this trailer for 64 Days, and it is a gut kicking reminder of the insurrection of Jan. 6th, 2021. Seeing the horror unfold reminds me of what is at stake this election. This documentary must be viewed and publicized non-stop through election day.
These white men have never had to work within the system to affect the change in government, policy, culture that they want. The rest of us folks, women, black Americans, immigrants, religious minorities, follow the rules, knock on doors, legislate. (Probably why there is such a shallow bench on the Republican side.)
We have had to accept incremental change, if at all. We did not witness a white man murdered by a black man on national television, by the way.
