Eat the Rich: Live with Chuck Collins

A recording from Nina Burleigh's live video

Chuck Collins’ book The Wealth Hoarders: How Billionaires Pay Millions to Hide Trillions is one of my favorite books exploring privileged class politics and the winners in the post-Reagan financialized economy. His explanation of what he calls the Wealth Defense Industry peels back the curtain a little on what Jeffrey Epstein was up to with the schemes and trusts of the global elite, The Yacht People. Collins is an American author, activist, and expert on economic inequality, a senior scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies and a great-grandson of Oscar Mayer who gave away his inheritance. His work focuses on wealth disparity, philanthropy, and tax policy. He publishes an informative substack and has a new book out, Burned by Billionaires. Thank you PJ Schuster, Sandra Steffen, Bluesin’ Bob, Karen Bennett, Bee's Free Verse/True Verse, and many others for tuning into our conversation. Join me for my next live video in the app.
